2.6.27-omap1 on beagle

Howdy,

Upon building 2.6.27-omap1 with the beagle defconfig. With my earlier
kernel, if I didn't redirect the console to ttyS2, I would get console
output on the DVI display -- now, however, the DVI display remains
inactive. Any ideas what's changed that could be causing this and how
to get the display back? Starting up Xfbdev etc. causes no change.

I'm using..

bootargs=noinitrd root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rw rootdelay=3 nohz=off
console=ttyS2,115200n8

and booting off a sdhc card. (Removing the console=... to test boot
with the attached monitor, of course.)

Did you try updating u-boot?

I didn't; previously I had:

U-Boot 1.3.3 (Jul 10 2008 - 16:33:09)

And now I just built the latest from sakoman's u-boot tree:

U-Boot 2008.10-rc2 (Nov 2 2008 - 11:58:28)

... but no change.
