720p decode with dsp

Hi everyone,

I've got a BeagleBoard-xM and I'm running the latest version of
Angstrom from here: http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/demo/beagleboard/

I would really like to get 720p video playback working using hardware
acceleration (possibly using the TI gstreamer plugins?). Looking
through the documentation for the TI DVSDK for this processor (the
DM3730), I see that I should be able to play 720p hardware-accelerated
video.

I can get mplayer to play 720p video, and I can get gstreamer to play
some videos (but not 720p ones). Has anyone got this working, or is
this capability even a part of Angstrom yet?

the currently exisitng free dst codecs do not do 720p. There are rumors
about a free 720p capable H264 decoder (BP only as far as I know) for
the 3730 but I don't know if that has been released yet...
