Android Froyo USB keyboard and mouse

I have managed to finally get Android Froyo to boot (the TI version).I
now want to include USB HID support for keyboard and mouse. I have 2
questions I'm afraid (that's considered rude is it? damn 3)

Is it enough to configure the 2.6.32 kernel to do that?

What would be the command line to run menuconfig for a beagle board
(arm processor) given that I am on a Ubuntu x86 platform?

Using rowboat (which is derived from the TI version if I remember correct) i did not have to turn this on specially. I just plugged in my USB mouse and there I had a mouse pointer. But I guess if it's not yet enabled, simply turn it on in kernel.

assuming your android sdk is in /home/rob/mydroid:

go to /home/rob/mydroid/kernel
there you simply call
$ make menuconfig

that should do the trick.
