Angstrom with Kernel 2.6.37 (next) no hdmi no ssh Support Beagleboard XM

Hello all together,

i build an image with the online builder with (http://
narcissus.angstrom-distribution.org/)
when i choose 'next' at the point "Select the release you want to base
your rootfs image on"

When I use this Image on my Beagleboard HDMI and SSH does not work!
With the stable Version everything is ok.
I know thats the newer Kernel isn´t stable but is there anyone with
the same problem or even a solution?

my aim is to get the pseye (playstation cam) working with the patched
kernel module. (someone said that is implementet in the unstable
angstrom version)

or is there anyone who has the patched (videomode function and so on)
gspca-ov534.ko for arm7v 2.6.32

You need to install dropbear ssh server for ssh connectivity. You can download it from the angstrom package repo.

HDMI issue may not be related to the rootfs build, cross check your bootargs.

thank you for your answer!
but i am not able to use opkg or something.
and is still see the beagleboard logo but not a login promt.
i choose the dropbear server in the additional packages selection.
how can i use the console?

hello,

thank you for your answer.

when i start the image on the beagleboard xm the logo appears but
theres not login promt an i put the dropbear server in "Additional
packages selection:" in the online builder.
so i am not able to install anything over opkg or something. with the
stable package everything works fine... where is my mistake or is the
"next" in section "Select the release you want to base your rootfs
image on" not runable on beagleboard xm?!

thank you!
