Are apt-get 4.1.x kernels -ti versions?

Does the linux-image-4.1.7-bone16 package provide a 4.1.7-ti-r16 branch build? I tried to find that branch here (https://github.com/beagleboard/linux), but didn't see it. I'm not sure if there's a difference and which I should be using. Thanks!

It seems that perhaps they are different, although I'm not sure precisely how. I see there are in fact -ti packages. The information here (http://elinux.org/Beagleboard:BeagleBoneBlack_Debian#4.1.x_BeagleBone.2FBeagleBone_Black) talks about Mainline, which I now think means the kernel mainline, not TI's modifications, is that right?

TIA,

I'm only pushing the "v4.1.x-ti" commits to GitHub - beagleboard/linux: The official Read Only BeagleBoard and BeagleBone kernel repository https://git.beagleboard.org/beagleboard/linux
