bare metal programming on the beaglebone black total beginner

Hi all, I’ve had my BBB for a while now, working on python and C++ projects. I’m wanting to learn about programming ‘on the metal’ as employers are putting it. There’s a lot of resources out there but mostly for RPi and STM32. Does anyone know of any good resources for learning to do bare metal C / C++ for the BBB?
I’m a total beginner with this paradigm, so I’m not sure if those STM32 tutorials will translate easily to BBB.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!
