I know the Blacks have HDMI which carry audio, but are the Blacks capable of 5.1 or better yet 7.1 audio output(or really any more than stereo multichannel digital audio output)? I dont own one yet, but I run tech for a few haunted houses in the area and if they can act as surround sound sources without bogging down the processor(have a few other scripts to run on them) I’m going to order 30 right off the bat.
You will need a cape to create the 5.1 channels of audio. the board only generates stereo as configured with the HDMI.
