Beagle board boot problem

Hi,

I am facing a problem with the booting sequence of beagle board
(version c4).

I have connected the board with a serial cable to test with the hyper-
terminal on windows xp. I am not getting any messages on the terminal.
The device is powered with usb mini cable.

on hyper terminal did you select correct port (also yo dont select modem connection) and also port settings

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I was able to boot the Angstrom OS with my
beagle board rev c4. However I need to do some changes.

I have tried connecting USB mouse to the board. Does it need a powered
USB hub. I tried with keyboard also. It doesn't work.

Try this before using a powered hub; Connect the mouse and keyboard before reset that is connect the mouse and keyboard and then power up the board, this can solve your problem but I recommend that to use a powered hub
