Beagle Board Rev B6

Hi,

I have Beagle Board B6,i got the sources from git repositoriesthen i
built the MLO,u-boot.bin,uImage images using codesourcery tool.
I also got the filesystem http://code.google.com/p/beagleboard/wiki/BeagleSourceCode.
X-loader,u-boot is working fine but when i start to boot the kernel it
just hang there.

Could any one tell me what is the reason?

I think your "setenv bootargs" command may be wrong.

Here's the command from the "Beagle Board Beginners": wiki //
elinux.org/
BeagleBoardBeginners#Writing_the_.C3.85ngstr.C3.B6m_image_into_the_SDcard_and_finally_booting_GNU.
2FLinux

# setenv bootargs 'console=ttyS2,115200n8 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rw
rootwait'

I think you want "rw" instead of "re", and you need a rootdelay longer
than 1. "rootwait" is preferred to "rootdelay=n" nowadays.

The first time you boot Ångström takes a long time (minutes) to
initialize itself. Later boots are fast.

Hope this helps,
John
