Beagle Board WebCam

I connected my USB WebCam to the
BeagleBoard and the BeagleBoard recognize it with this message:

unfortunately when I open Cheese, the immage that show the video is
completly black.
I had think that the problem was the alimentation but changing it, the
result is the same.

Someone can help me?

Just to let you know that we solved the problem with the webcam. We
recompiled and installed the gspca drivers and voilà :slight_smile:

Am using microsoft lifecam vx-500 with BB-c4.
I could not get that thing work.
How to make that work with BB.
pls help me..

I could able to see my webcam registered to usbcore on dmesg

but i couldn see that device in /dev folder..
pls help me
