I'm using the Beagle demo 2.6.27, which I believe uses the dss1
display driver. Using HDMI-to-DVI out, everything works fine on my
1600x1200 LCD panel. However, when I connect to my Dell 1504FP
1024x768 LCD panel, I get nothing. I've tried modifying bootargs as
per http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardFAQ#Display_resolutions_.231, saving
using saveenv, and rebooting, but nothing seems to work. Do I need to
install the patch referenced there? If so, how do I do that (I'm a
bit of a Linux beginner). Perhaps I'm not modifying the bootargs
correctly? I've tried many different ways to do this, and it appears
the same on my 1600x1200 panel, so I don't think what I'm doing is
having any effect. Any pointers?
