At present time, it is looking as though SparkFun will be selling/distributing these boards/kits. If you are subscribed to their RSS feed for new products, you should see when they will be available.
The design files are sitting on my computer waiting for fabrication.
I currently have several VERY large receivables that are not being paid that are keeping me from placing the initial PCB/assembly order. The next window for me to have the initial lot produced will be later this week. I will post on the status of placing the order by Friday.
I do have a verbal understanding with Sparkfun that they will carry the boards/kits as soon as they pass QC. That's why I suggested that people subscribe to their RSS new product feed to know immediately when they will be available.
Sorry for not having better news to share. But, the bottom line is that as soon as I get paid, I will have the boards produced.

Yes. My software engineer is coming into town today for a review of all of the code associated with the BB and the adapter. This is mostly for the Atmel code that emulates the EID EEPROM, the backlight brightness, and panel enabling. But, also scheduled are reviews for if/what uboot modifications are necessary as well as any OE/kernel items. This process also includes testing on prototype hardware. As soon as we're comfortable that everything is right with the prototype HW and SW, the first production orders will be place.
As Koen has mentioned, he would like to see something just work out of the box with this. That is also our goal.
