[beagleboard] Connect a LCD to the Beagle -Xm rev B

Hello Hunyue,

I emailed you multiple times a few months ago about when you
might have a working LCD solution for the BB -xm. Seems like
you have one working now? Is this something that can be
purchased? Does it support more than one LCD display?

Hi Jim,

Yes, the LCD itself is working. The purchaseable part depends on
interest given how thick of a stack the xM forces things to be.
It is available as a special item in the same manner that it is
available for the other A9 animal board. Right now, it supports
3-4 different LCDs.

Anyone checked this out? Or had any past experiences with it?
I'm in the same boat as you guys, and I have bought the touch screen
above. Any thoughts about it? Any clue if it's gonna work on the BB-
xM? Sorry for sounding less-smart, I'm just new to the whole BB
schematics.

looks like a standard 18/24bit parallel LCD with a separate 4wire
resistive touchscreen. most likely some level shifter are needed
and of course the correct timing.
