[beagleboard] e-mmc driver code for Beagle board

Hi,

I am working on Beagle B7 Board i found mmc code working on it.
i want to know Beagle board support emmc?

I can support eMMC, but only at 1.8V. I do not beleive I have seen anyone in the community working on this.

I recollect hearing a similar issue on linux omap (specific to eMMC not
iNAND as the subject starts off with)..

Isn't eMMC supposed to be 100% backward compliant with normal (old) MMC (at
1.8V),
only adding new features (mainly easy booting and soldered devices) to the
MMC spec?

As such I would assume you could use an eMMC exactly as a 1.8V MMC card - of
cause not utilizing the new features this way:-)

Isn't this the case? At least this is/was my understanding

I think eMMC is also 8b. I may be wrong. But, Beagle supports 8b but only at 1.8V.

The change to 8-bit came with MMC rev 4.0 – eMMC first arrived with MMC rev 4.3 J
