These additional files are what is required to actual assemble the PCB with components, the ultimate goal in making a PCB.

Some layers are used to make the stencils for the application of the solder to connect the components to the PCB. That is why the package is called manufacturing files.

Thank you for your explanation, but because I need the files for the fab machines in the university, please explain what each of the extra gerber files are for (such as which ones are for stencil). Thank you.
