[beagleboard] multiple I2C BeagleBone Black

I2C is the control interface only. You will need 2-4 data paths to connect to the processor. It can be done, but it will require some additional hardware to make it work, Supporting 2-4 depends on your frame rate.

Thanks for the quick reply Gerald. I’m ok with a slow frame rate.

What kind of hardware are you thinking I would need? I’m fairly new to this domain and trying to gain an understanding of what parts to acquire.

Hard to say. You need 48 I/O pins on the processor to handle the data alone. A PRU could handle it, but I ma not sure if you are familiar with that. Do a search on the forum.

You need to decide if you want 1,2,3, or 4. It does not scale becasue they all have th esame signals back in so you need to multiplex them to get the processor to pin count down.
