One last question until the cable comes. When you first got the board did it boot OK?

Hi Gerald,
I had a similar issue, I got two boards, one of them didn't allow me to
ssh. Since I didn't have a cable with me at the time, I decided to just
reflash it. It did flawlessly, and I was able to connect remotely
through ssh, but after a update/upgrade, it failed with similar errors.
I reflashed it again, and everything works, but I didn't try to upgrade
it again.

I am hearing that a lot.
There is a new release coming early next week that should fix the update issue.
