Beagleboard RevC5 USB-to-Ethernet unstable

Hi Gerald,

I am trying to put 2 new RevC5 board to use. I connected a Trendnet TU2-ET100 adapter to the USB port. However, I experienced that both boards have unstable network connection though DHCP and ping works. The flaky connection cause trouble to mount the NFS partition. The reason I said the connection was flaky is because I have seen "ifup eth0" kernel message displayed on the serial terminal once awhile. Since my bootable SD card only has uImage in it, the different version of u-boots in RevC4 and RevC5 produce different results. While my kernel works fine in RevC4, it failed to mount the NFS partition in RevC5.

My RevC4 board's u-boot version: U-Boot 2009.11-rc1-00601-g3aa4b51 (Jan 05 2010 - 20:56:38)
My RevC5 board's u-boot version: U-Boot 2011.03-rc1-00000-g9a3cc57-dirty (Apr 01 2011 - 17:41:42)

Do RevC4 and RevC5 boards use the same PCB revision? I assumed they are since the only difference is the PoP chip. I would like to get U-Boot 2009.11-rc1 and try it in the SD card. Would you please send it to me?

Thanks,
Eric

Rev C4 and Rev C5 use the same PCB version. Only change is the memory with more NAND. LPDDR2 is the same. It is described in the System Reference Manual.
