[beagleboard] So what are the I/O options on the gpio?

Voltage ranges? 1.8V. Have you vsitied this location? http://circuitco.com/support/index.php?title=BeagleBoneBlack

Table says AIN is 1.8V MAX.

as a note to this there is not DtoA on the bone

you will need to provide an external IC to do this function

Ya know, you might get more responses if you were more civil and less demanding.

First, doing this google "using gpio on beaglebone", the second item was a very good, step-by-step tutorial that shows how to use GPIO on the beaglebone.

Second, BB doesn't have AD capability. If you had RTFM, you'd know that.

Third, if you can't read "programming manuals" then I would humbly suggest that you take up basket weaving and leave programming to people who can.

Finally, I, and everybody else on this list, really don't give a SH!T what you want. Gerald is a nice guy who answers everybody. But until you send a check, nobody has any obligations to you.

There is also this option, which nearing the final stages of testing, to get higher resolution (16-bit), bipolar (± 4.096V) A/D and D/A with the BBB.
