BeagleBoard - Ubuntu - Xorg omapfb drivers

I’ve set up Ubuntu 9.04 on my beagleboard following the instructions on http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardUbuntu. This query is specific to the Xorg omapfb drivers part - I have installed it as instructed - is there a way to check if the Xserver that is running on my beagle is indeed using the said xorg with neon optimizations?

use xvinfo

if it shows anything: "OMAP XV adaptor" it's enabled...

Regards,

If your xorg.conf does not explicitly call for the omapfb X11 driver,
you may check this reading the /val/log/Xorg.0.log file.
Check also that the driver is in the /usr/lib/xorg/modules/ : sthing
like libomapfb.so

Otherwise if not used Xorg uses fbdev driver and its getting really
slow ....
