Beagleboard-xm not booting with 5V barrel supply

Hi,

I am using beaglebone-xm and facing below issue.

  • Boot is not happening when 5V barrel connector is used to power up.
  • Only D14 LED is lit up. D5 LED seems to have a loose connection somehow.
  • Boot is working fine when OTG is used as power supply.

I am totally new to using beagleboard or any any other DIY boards.

Sounds like your 5V power supply is a little light in the current department or it is not a regulated 5V supply.
