Beaglebone AI64 is not booting

Hi All,

I have purchased new beagleboneblack AI-64, I was updating firmware. During the updation board turned off automatically. I am not sure about the reason.

Board was not much heated up when I checked.

After this board is not getting booted up. I am not sure what to do.

Can anyone suggest regarding this issue?
Is the board is damaged?
Is it possible to recover it.

Now once I connect the power none of the LED is blinking and I can hear a small beap sound immediately I connect power source.

Please help…
Regards,
Abhishek

Hi Abhishek,
How are you providing power to the board? Through the barrel connector, usb-c plug, header? What is the current rating for your transformer? I had an issue a few months ago that the board wouldn’t boot, I thought the board was toast but it was due to a high voltage drop on the cable I was using to connect to the barrel connector. Replacing with a raspberry Pi usb-c power supply solved it!

Good luck,
Xtof
