BeagleBone Black ADC Channel Reading

I want to use BB Black ADC for data acquisition in differential mode. There are some questions in my mind.

  1. Since it will be differential, it will be both positive (+) and negative (-). Can BB Black acquire negative voltage?
  2. Since limitation of BB Black is 0-1.8 Volts. How to convert higher voltage in this range.
  3. There is mention of Maximum current rating of ADC (10 mA). Is this ADC power supply? How to manage this for any sensor which require more current?

Please, help me for these questions…
