Beaglebone black and DLPDLCR2000EVM

So I have bought a DLPDLCR2000EVM and beaglebone black, and I followed the Quick-Start Tutorial DLPDLCR2000EVM: How to project customized image using DLP? - DLP products forum - DLP®︎ products - TI E2E support forums. But I cant project the fish tank video. I don’t know which part went wrong. Can someone guide me?

And then I move on to step 12 :
( Step 12: Using the cd command, navigate to the following directory:

cd /opt/scripts/device/bone/capes/DLPDLCR2000/)
but it said no such file or directory.

Why do I have these problems?

When I followed the tutorial to step 11, It said install mplayer 2 but this is the response. Is it normal?

It helps if you share a link to the guide you are following.

ah thanks for that… https://debian.beagleboard.org/images/rcn-ee.net/rootfs/bb.org/testing/2017-08-01/lxqt-4gb/ been looking for what image TI recommended…

Here you go: Index of /rootfs/bb.org/testing/2017-08-01/lxqt-4gb

On first startup open:

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

and change all :

deb.debian.org/debianarchive.debian.org/debian

as Jessie is EOL…

and remove:

deb https://deb.nodesource.com/node_4.x jessie main
#deb-src https://deb.nodesource.com/node_4.x jessie main

Good Luck!

thank you, after following your instructions, I can go through the remaining steps of the tutorial. But in the last step, I can’t project the fish tank video. Also, my DLPDLCR2000EVM did not have any projections when connected with the beaglebone black which the step 8 in tutorial have mentioned that after booting both the EVM and the BeagleBone Black, the EVM splash screen should show up.
