Beaglebone black not booting when attached to protocape

Hey guys, I have a beaglebone black I’ve been working with for a robotics project. I use a protocape (http://www.amazon.com/Logic-Supply-CBB-Proto-BeagleBone-Black/dp/B00FA7PU30/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1428263073&sr=8-2-spell&keywords=protocape+beaglebone) for my main circuitry.

Currently, when my protocape is attached, my beaglebone will not boot, but it turns on. When I take off the cape, it boots fine. I have been using the cape with no modifications for awhile, and made no software changes in between runs. Any ideas on how I can get the functionality of my board and cape back? Or perhaps if there is anything that holds up the boot process with respect to pins?

Thank you.

Sounds like the boot pins are being interfered with by you cape. Check the System Reference Manual for an explanation.
