BeagleBone documentation critics

Good day to all,

I'm sorry, but I have to complain about BeagleBone documentation.

First:
I follow the instructions at: http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/demo/beaglebone/
and the easy way doesn't work. The hard way also doesn´t work (nowhere
is written that uImage MUST be written in the boot partition, if you
don´t know it, and you aren't forced to know it, you can't boot the
beaglebone).

Second:
    The mirrors are outdated.

I have to remember the people in charge that the board costs 90$, and
people doesn't have much time to put their projects on the road. I
don't see it serious that the board don't have updated documentation,
and for that reason i have to spend several days finding out how the
bone works.

Please try to update documentation and mirrors.
Thanks,
Daniel

What doesn't work about that? It's how the factory image gets created and tested.

Sorry, you are right.

I was writing in the terminal:

sudo xz -dkc Angstrom-Cloud9-IDE-eglibc-ipk-v2011.10-core-beaglebone-r0.img.xz > /dev/sdb

Instead of:

sudo -s
xz -dkc Angstrom-Cloud9-IDE-eglibc-ipk-v2011.10-core-beaglebone-r0.img.xz > /dev/sdb
