Beaglebone: Does it support UHS speeds of SD Cards

Hi,

Does the beaglebone (AM335x) support UHS speeds (30 MB/s or more) for SD cards that are UHS compatible?

-PJ

According to the AM335x Technical Reference Manual [1] page 3535, no.
AM335x supports SD v2.00 of the spec which does not include UHS modes of
operation.

Thanks Andrew for pointing me out that one!

Some UHS cards are compatible, although not at UHS speeds as Andrew indicated.

Technically, all SD and SDHC cards should be supported. So, all UHS
SDHC marked cards should be supported, just only operating with the SD
v2.00 spec interface (ie: no 1.8 V signaling or higher than 50 MHz
clock).

SDXC is another discussion.
