BeagleBone doesn't boot up

Hello,

We’ve been using BeagleBone A4 for some time and it worked fine. I had to put it away for some time (lack of time) and now tried using it again. Problem is it doesn’t boot up anymore. After connecting USB it only shows “CCCCCCC”. And nothing more. It does it with or without SD card. How to debug that? Is it FUBAR? :smiley:

Sounds like you trashed your SD card. It cannot find it and is looking for a boot source over the serial port.

Go to http://circuitco.com/support/index.php?title=BeagleBone#Image_Files and it explains how to retsore the SD card.
