You have the possibilty to build a new Angstrom Linux online under: http://narcissus.angstrom-distribution.org/ Meanwhile this isn't
!! possible any more. It seems, that Angstrom no longer support the
!! Beaglebone. Perhaps because of some problems with the newest revision
!! of the beaglebone.
You didn't misunderstand the text, the people who wrote it apparently are incapable of opening a browser and visiting http://www.angstrom-distribution.org. Visit that web page and read the first news item. Visiting the homepage of a project and reading the news entries is not rocket science!

I can live with that, but if the accurate answer is on the *$(*($#(*$#(* frontpage of the project in question it does warrant some tough love. I'll leave the following as an exercise to the readers:
"I heard that xbmc no longer supports android, is that true?"
The May 16 article says “the machine list matches the autobuilder: qemuarm, qemumips, qemuppc, qemux86, beagleboard and beaglebone”.
Right now, Narcissus has a list of options under “Select the machine…”, starting with a780, ac100, akita, etc. – all of the ones mentioned in the May 16th article are in the list, except “beaglebone”.
So, to generate a Narcissus image for the Beaglebone, what should we select in the “Select the machine” option?
It is a stupid article You need to go to the test build site linked in the blog aeticle , not the main site in order to see the beaglebone. Took me some time to figure that one. m.
It might be nice (to us dumb users and rumor-mongering bloggers :-)) to update http://narcissus.angstrom-distribution.org/ to include a link to the “test setup” version of Narcissus.
I went to http://dominion.thruhere.net/koen/narcissus/ and generated an online image - but when I downloaded this, expanded it and tried to install it upon an SD card - the commands I have previously used on my Ubunto all came back as unreckognised or similar.
tried sudo ./.mkmmc-android.sh + sudo ./setup_sdcard.sh + similar without any success - I will have another go later but… How do you generate an SD card from this image please?
