[beaglebone] question about beaglebone + extern audio codec

Hi beagle team!

I'm planning on doing an internet web radio player with the futur
beaglebone when available on distributors.
My question is:
- will it be possible to hook an external audio codec (like the WM8731
for example)? (ie: will I2S pins be available and not mixed in
ethernet pins or Usb pins ?)

All signals on the expansion header are mixed with something else. I suggest you take a look at the System Reference Manual and look at the pin muxing to see what is shared with what. If this is the only thing you have on the expansion board and you do not share it with other boards, you should have no issue.
