Hi all,
The introductory video for BeagleLogic has been released and can be viewed on the eLinux page or here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jl3sUq2WwcY .
Work has begun on the PRU firmware for the logic analyzer. The current strategy which I’ll be following is to let PRU1 sample the GPI pins and let PRU0 collect it using the broadside interface and place the samples into the memory, .
For the BeagleBone Black, I am currently developing and experimenting with a C application using libprussdrv for PRU Data dumps mapped via NFS. This code would be then fitted into libsigrok (ETA next week).
Goals for This Week:
- Get a first run and sample dump from the PRU
- Begin filling in the blanks in the skeleton “am335x-pru” driver of libsigrok with glue code, the actual data transfer code to be finalized once the PRU firmware successfully dumps the samples.

Next update via my blog on 28th.

Abhishek
