I am using BB-x A2, installed a Angstrom with build using Narcissus with X11 environment.
I loaded it and every thing is working fine while using the serial console, successfully getting the terminal through minicom…Also every thing including compiling etc is working fine using minicom.
But when I used the GUI mode, connected an HDMI cable to my Samsung display(before booting), and when booted a prompt comes asking for a LOGIN information with a virtual keyboard in the display… There is option root and when clicked OK, a black screen with just a mouse pointer is only coming. I waited for 5 mins but no change. When I connected a USB mouse, I am successfully able to control the mouse, but still its just black screen.

i also had same result from angstrom image!!??? wtf black screen, but
hit ALT+F2 to get dialog box input gnome-panel
desktop should follow,...when i finally got a desktop and controls i
made a keyboard shortcut where the comand is simply gnome-panel
cant figure out how to make it auto execute but i only been using
linux a month lolz,...so i gotta boot angstrom login and hit my
hotkeys to get a desktop
wont go into how i got sound working lol thats a worse hack i do each
boot still, when will someone that knows what they're doing make an
image thats working?
