Call for Conference Presentations (Discussion)

Guys:

I know it seems early to be thinking about showing the rest of the world what
you are doing with your Beagleboards, since many of you don't have them yet.
But...

Between now and the end of the year, there are going to be some conferences that
would be appropriate venues for demonstrating your super-cool Beagleboard-based
applications. A few that come to mind:

Embedded Systems Conference Boston
ARM Developer's Conference
MontaVista Vision 2008

... just to name a few.

I'd love to get some discussion going here around what people are doing with
Beagleboard, particularly from those who might be interested in giving a formal
presentation of their work to conferences like those listed above.

If you do some research, you'll see that some of the deadlines for the above
(and other) conferences are approaching quickly. The Embedded Systems
Conference Call For Abstracts deadline has officially closed, for example, but
there are almost certainly some slots still available for the right presentation
if a decent abstract were to become available in the next two weeks.

The upsides to presenting at a professional conference include exposure for you
and your work, along with access to an audience who might be interested in
helping out. Sometimes that support is just an atta-boy, other times it's
formal sponsorship. Something to think about.

Anyone interested?

I submitted a proposal for the demo track at the SDR Forum Technical
Conference (http://www.sdrforum.org/sdr08/index.html) to present the
Beagle Board and Software Defined Radio. This is the same week as ESC
Boston.
