Can not ping my beaglebone

Was funny I had access to it via serial only just before, but then it stopped working when I reset my PC…

This is what looks like end of dmesg when I plug in my beaglebone:

Let me try “a shot in the dark”: (don´t know if this expression makes sense in English hahaha)

After plug in you beaglebone wait few moments, check if you see dmesg messages similar this:

[ 966.735593] usb0: register ‘cdc_ether’ at usb-0000:00:1d.7-3.2, CDC Ethernet Device, 16:f6:fa:aa:0a:62
[ 976.892039] usb0: no IPv6 routers present
(don´t bother with the numbers and MAC address, just see the device name highlighted above)

If you have those messages after plug the beagle try this:

sudo ifconfig usb0 192.168.7.1

After that check dmesg again and try serial console access.

This is a rough guess but recently I experienced serial console freeze while not enabling Ethernet CDC device at PC. Of course that symptom started after I recompiled the kernel myself and is probably not your case but try it may worth.
