Cant boot my Beagle xm Rev C

I got the MLO file first into the FAT partition followed by the u-
boot.img,both downloaded from http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/demo/beagleboard/.

I have also downloaded and extracted the root file system into the EXT
partition of the sd card(4 gb).

My board powers up,but every time I get a message like "Reading boot/
uImage , cant find kernel image".

I have tried every possible ways.Please help me if you have a solution
for this problem.
I am new to this.

it seems that you haven't copied the kernel "uImage" file to your
boot partition as well.

It might also be that your Ångström config has set your u-boot to load
the uImage from rootfs partition's /boot folder.
