Chipsee 7" LCD and latest Angstrom linux

I get the general jist… I bought a ‘lemon’ with the Chipsee LCD - it’s really an “Android only LCD”.

darn it - okay, I just ordered a 3" version - http://beagleboardtoys.com/wiki/index.php?title=BeagleBone_LCD3

I was mistakenly reading the LCD7 wiki page about it working - I didn’t appreciate that this wasn’t the same as the Chipsee version.

I’ve posted an email to Chipsee to see if I get any feedback. If I do, I’ll update this thread.

Thank you for your responses, it just means I can save wasting anymore time.

Never heard of Android only Hardware before. If the design is open enough and the information is available, there should not be an issue in getting it to work.
