Clarification regarding DVi-D connector present on beagle board

Hi,

I studied the beagle system reference manual(rev B5) for DVI-D
connector, but I was little bit confused.

From a little study I could make out following:

1.Technically the HDMI on the Beagle is not fully HDMI and more like
DVI-D because it is missing the audio portion and because it is not
HDCP encrypted
2.DVI-D and HDMI are compatible if only video is to be transmitted.
3.DVI-D connector details given in manual show that effectively DVI-D
signals come out of HDMI connector of beagle board.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

If not so, than I would suggest to change the following line in B5
system ref manual which leads to ambiguity.
The line is "The BeagleBoard is equipped with a DVI-D connector that
uses an HDMI connector that
was selected for its small size."

It can be replaced by something like this to avoid confusion
"The BeagleBoard is equipped with a DVI-D signals that uses an HDMI
connector that
was selected for its small size."

that proposed replacement isn't gramatically valid.
