Clarifications abt wifi on beagleboard rev-B and LCD panels

dongle works fine on BeagleBoard/Angstrom.
Can someone please confirm that these dongles can be used with
BeagleBoard revision-B boards?

Plus I’m also looking to add an LCD panel on the same BeagleBoard, which
according to some posts can be achieved adding LCD to SPI interface.
I want to know if anyone has tried adding LCD panel to BeagleBoard and
if its working fine without any major issues.

I think the post you refer to was made by me. What I wrote was that there is
basically two different ways to add a LCD display.
1) Using the "official" parallel display interface and a parallel display
2) Using one of the SPI interfaces utilizes a SPI serial display

What you need pretty much depend on your use case. I.e.
1) Do you want to add a text-based or a graphical display?
2) Monochrome or Color
3) Low- or High-resolution
4) High- or Low-frame update rate?

These questions might help you indicating if you should go for a parallel or
a SPI display.
I have had many different displays of both kinds (10+) connected to OMAPs
(though not on Beagle yet) and found no real problems. Only stuff which you
might need to work your way through :slight_smile:
