I am in the process of building a IP video phone using beagle board.
Would like to know basis audio / video codecs (H.264 / H.263 / MPEG
4 / G.711 ) supported in the pre loaded software.

The Beagle Board does not include any pre-loaded software other than a
boot-loader (to simplify knowing that it is alive).
The TI OMAP3530 DVSDK for the OMAP35x EVM (http://www.ti.com/omap35x)
includes some audio/video codecs for the DSP. You can find some
additional codecs for the Beagle Board from the FFmpeg project and
many other open source projects.
