Configuring Leopard Camera on the BBxm (brightness etc)

All,

I am working with the BBxm and have thus far successfully installed a Leopard Imaging VGA camera (LBCMVGA).
I can take images using it without much of a problem.

The problem though is that the images taken by the camera are of poor quality.
I want to know if there is a mechanism for adjusting the brightness (such as the qty of light/photons taken in by the camera) and other configs.

Depending on the camera chip you are using. Such as the Aptina
5Megapixel mt9p031, On the Leopard LI-5M03 there is a debugger mode to
change gains, commands listed at the end of the read me.
