Am getting till beagleboard login..
when i type root.. its not getting displayed on terminal..
pls help me what may be the problem...
There is no default root password.
The default user is ubuntu but I can't remember the password, searching for it on google, no luck so far.
When you login as ubuntu, you can set a root password
$ sudo passwd root
You enter and confirm a root password and then you can login as root.
