I’m having trouble trying to find out how much current does flashing take. The datasheet for the flash is behind a “Secret” door (not publicly available).
I’m counting electrons, an answer that states “it takes more than a USB feed or buy a 5v, 1 A supply” doesn’t help…
It is not the flashing of the eMMC that takes the current. It is the beating on the SD card to copy the data to the eMMC that takes the added current. How much current does the card you are using take? The bigger the card, the higher the current.
Active current of the eMMC is 70mA max.
