Does anyone have experience installing a RedHat 7 operating system on this board?

We are thinking about buying one of these but aren’t sure if we can put a RedHat OS on it. We specifically need to use RedHat 7.6. If anyone has done this or knows if it’s even possible, please respond. Thanks for your time.

No 32 bit arm support, thus no BBB support..

Regards,

*RedHat* does not support the ARM processor, but *CentOS* does. I don't know
if there is an image for the *beagles*, but there are images for the Raspberry
Pi. (Actually, the Raspberry Pi is a faster machine and is generally cheaper
than a Beagle Bone Black.)

The CentOS people provide armv7hl distro images based on RHEL 7 -- RPi and
"generic" (needs uboot).

See:

(And reading the above wiki page, the BBB is supported -- it is used as the
example!)

Thanks for the info my friend. I appreciate it. I think we are working with a custom image and wouldn’t be able to get one from CentOS.
