DSP applications

http://ossie.wireless.vt.edu/trac/wiki/BeagleBoard_CodecEngine

I am trying to execute the GPP and DSP applications according to the
procedure given in above link. But the applications messagegpp,
ringio_gpp, mpcsxfergpp are crashing.

Is there anything that needs to be taken care of apart from the
steps given in above link?

Robin

./mpcsxfergpp /usr/share/ti-dsplink/cmd_compiled/DEBUG/mpcsxfer.out 1024

Hi Robin,

I also have had some problems. I could fix some of them, but there is one that I got stuck at, and it happens before your problem.
Do you had the same problem? If yes, how did you fix that?
Thanks in advance!

http://ossie.wireless.vt.edu/trac/wiki/BeagleBoard_CodecEngine
I am trying to execute the DSPlink, but when I do
bitbake ti-codec-engine

Well i did not the error doing "bitbake ti-codec-engine"
Looking into the contents of below file will give idea of the problem.
/home/karmonitor/oe/tmp/work/beagleboard-angstrom-linux-gnueabi/ti-dsplink-module-1613-r46a/temp/log.do_compile.5732

I have moved onto another link
http://elinux.org/BeagleBoard/DSP_Howto#Simplified
But i have not been able to get the v2.6.28-felipec1 kernel, looks like
its not available anymore.

Robin

Thanks Robin,

but with your information I could not solve my issues. I already saw the file /home/karmonitor/oe/tmp/work/
beagleboard-angstrom-linux-gnueabi/ti-dsplink-module-1613-r46a/temp/log.do_compile.5732. It is pointing the following error:
/bin/sh: /home/karmonitor/oe/tmp/staging/i686-linux/ti-cgt6x-native/bin/cl6x: No such file or directory
Checking my folder tree, I can see that /bin/c16x was not created. Should the makefile create this part? Is it a folder that I have to have?

I am working on it for 2 months.

Do you have some details that you used?
What unix distro did you use to build the DSPlink? Which version?

Thanks in advance.
