DSS2 and USB

Hello!

Just recently I read this in another thread:

Pretty much all the patches mentioned in this mailinglist are in OE.

Just recently I read this in another thread:
---
developer: "DSS2 works, but usb is broken"
beagle veteran: "grab the musb patches from the internet"
---

I looked at the mailing list archives but didn't find much. Can a
Beagle veteran provide some pointers on this?

Pretty much all the patches mentioned in this mailinglist are in OE.

Thanks, Koen. Since I don't use Angstrom / build from OE directly, I
was asking for some pointers. Can anyone shed some light on what
recipe or patches I need for a kernel with DSS2+DSPBridge in order to
get USB working?

Greetings!

Even if you do not use OE, the recipes are good references:

http://cgit.openembedded.net/cgit.cgi/openembedded/tree/recipes/linux/linux-omap_2.6.29.bb

The patches are also stored in the linux-omap-2.6.29 directory.

Openembedded-Hotels, Villen, Unterkünfte in Leipzig
The patches are also stored in the linux-omap-2.6.29 directory.

Excellent! That's exactly what I needed.

I do use an OE-based distro (Poky) with 2.6.28, but didn't know what
kernel recipe to look at. Will take a look at the patches and possibly
upgrade to 2.6.29.

Thanks and greetings!
