DVI-D audio support?

Just curious why the audio codec is not populated on the BeagleBone DVI-D cape.

Is this planned in the future? Did it have problems?

There is a DVI-D Cape. There is an Audio Cape, and there is one with both Audio and DVI-D. The DVI-D was first because the SW was working soonest. Audio came later. Audio works and SW support for it will be coming soon in th enext SW release,.

so when will we be able to buy the audio only cape and the combined DVI / Audio Cape? I don’t see either offered on bb toys.

I can’t really give you a firm date. They have several in the works that they are trying to get out.

I suggest you contact them and see what they say.
