ethernet 10/100 using usb otg port

hi
im using a mini A to A adapter on the usb otg port. i connected an
Asix usb to 10/100 adapter to this. But the beagleboard does not see
anything present on the otg port.
any insights into this?

axis is driver for this ethernet card.manually this driver can be inserted in kernel using #modprobe asix
and then check with #ifconfig command that device is detected or not.

This could also be related to the adapter not supporting OTG. You can force
the OTG port to be host mode (required by many devices) by adding a blob of
solder on the bottom of the board. Search the manual for OTG for more detail
about how to accomplish this.
