I just discovered that there is supposedly something wrong with the Rev 4 Boards and ethernet configurations when the mailing lists are to be trusted. I just got the board the other day, and still have a hard time to get it to do something useful. Part of the problem is the ethernet connection.
Is there some kind of guide for removing the R219 resistor? Is it still required or is there a software fix? I also cannot exclude that I make something stupid with my internet configuration, but the fact that the odd reboot solves the problem, seems to indicate to me (noop) that I am stuck with this R219 issue. Unfortunately I cannot find anything about it on the beagleboard website.
