Experimental BeagleBone Black Sabayon armhf images

Your hard work in putting together this image is appreciated.

In light of the recent relevations about PowerVR driver support, I expected that either there would be no GLX extension in X, or else it would be software rendering by Mesa.

But xdpyinfo shows the GLX and SGI-GLX extensions and glxinfo shows Direct Rendering: Yes. That’s great.

However, glxinfo also says that the vendor is VMware, which is very weird. And glxgears crashes.

Any idea why the Sabayon repository would contain packages built this way?

(To reproduce, you’ll need at least the xdpyinfo and mesa-progs packages installed. I have also installed xterm and xf86-drivers-omap)

Rather, xf86-video-omap

Ahh.. That's a waste on the BeagleBone's am335x, which uses's Davnci's
fb ip, not Omap's..

Regards,

I suspected as much, but if the matching hardware isn’t present it should just not load.

Having xdpyinfo and glxinfo report that OpenGL is available, and then glxgears Seg-Fault, is broken.
