Flashing Debian to BBB in order to use kali linux?

It will boot, just follow these directions exactly…

Plug in SD card.
Using your finger nail, hold down the boot button.
Insert power with other hand.
Once LED’s start to blink, remove finger nail from button.

ok ill burn the image back onto the sd chip and try this.

Followed the instructions.
Two user leds turned on
They did not blink just stayed like that for a while
I tried yhe sd with the kali image and the lights did not even turn on.
Removed the sd chip and applied power and angstrom booted up with the gui

if i remember right it probably has only 2gb emmc on that board
so flashing is not an option

Im not even trying to flash it anymore i was trying to have it boot from the sd chip and even thats not working
